Via a Crew Stories’ Facebook post we learn about the sudden disappearance of the comedy Central website. The comedy Central website now instead reads “While episodes of most Comedy Central series are no longer available on this website, you can watch Comedy Central through your TV provider. You can also sign up for Paramount+ to watch many seasons of Comedy Central shows.”

However – as the LA nighter article attached in the post notes – the Colbert Report and The Daily Show simply do not exist on Paramount plus. This means that many videos – simply not archived on the YouTube channel for the Daily Show have been lost to history.

With new episodes coming to TV – along with host John Oliver returning to host once per week – the show is still as sharp as ever and worth time to watch on YouTube. New episodes with great pacing don’t stop the sting of losing out on the ability to rewatch archived episodes.
